Rustic wooden spool Canadian flag badges (30" wide) are upcycled from authentic industrial wire reel spools. Each spool is hand sanded smooth, burnt and stained, Then coated with polyurethane protective sealant to protect from the elements. A glavanized Maple Leaf is mounted with stand offs to give it a 3D look. The hole placements, hole quantity, hole sizes, and wood grain will vary. Every Canadian flag badge is a unique one-of-a-kind statement piece that has gone through an industrial journey and will display its own set of scars, marks, cracks, knots, and dings.
